Christmas Memories

Christmas morning with Emmett and the doggies.

Emmett got lots of presents, which he probably will not remember, but we know he is enjoying them now. Even Coco and Nacho enjoyed their Christmas they got lots of treats

We spent a lovely time at my sister's house the morning of the 25th.

We made ginger bread houses at Bruce and Loisa's house on Christmas Eve, ours was the Hansel and Gretal witch cabin.

This year we did the reanactment of Christ's birth from Luke 2. Emmett got to be Jesus, Phil Joseph and I was Mary.

Merry Christmas to all. We had a lovely Christmas this year with our son Emmett, it was his first Christmas. We went to Cerreta's Chocolate Factory in Glendale. What a yummy Santa Claus made of pure solid chocolate.

Ok so we were trying to take a family picture with our new camera's timer. After like 30 takes, we finally took a decent picture (below). But one of the funniest takes we took was the one where Nacho, Coco and Emmett are looking the other way (above). I love my lil family :-)

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year with our new addition to our family. It was great to see everyone and spend time eating a lot of good wonderful food. Thanks to all that cooked this year (my excuse was, well I just had a baby, lol). Here are some of the many many pics we took.

1 month old

Sleep

Happy baby, sleeping during the day.

Mommy and Emmett, he sleeps after he eats (during the day, not at night).

Our little guy dosent like to sleep at night very much, he wakes up every 1 1/2 to 3 hours every night, we are trying different techniques and hopefully these will prolong his sleep pattern, we will see.

3 weeks old

Emmett is growing so fast, I cant keep up with it. Our little guy is outgrowing his newborn clothes and diapers :-)

Yay! today Emmett's ambilical cord finally fell off. Also he has gained 2 lbs and grew 1 1/2 inch more. He weights 8 lbs 10 oz. and measures 21 1/2 inches, wow they grow fast.

Leaving Hospital

We left the hospital on 10/09/09. We were so ready to go home and enjoy some peace, quiet and our son all to ourselves.

Baby Emmett is Here

Baby Emmett is here! We are so happy the day finally came, both mom and baby are healthy. Our camera is having issues so I cant upload pics of me and baby, we also have some video but I am trying to figure out that too. Emmett weighed 6 lb. 12 oz, and measured 20 inches. Born on 10/7/09 at 6:40pm. He is a true blessing in our lives we are very happy.

37 weeks!

Yay, I made it to 37 weeks (full term), that's a relief, but now I'm sitting here wondering...when will it finally happen....aw the waiting is killing me, oh well.

I wish I'd known

I am at 36 1/2 weeks now and already had 2 false alarms. I wish I would have known that even though you are having back to back contractions and are 3cm dialated you still might have to wait a few days or weeks to have the baby. I hope I can make it on time to the hospital when it is really time for it. Will keep you posted.

I am 35 1/2 weeks pregnant today, anxiously awaiting the arrival of our baby. We've had some close calls but nothing. I am still on bedrest and having a hard time sleeping, walking, sitting :-)

He is weighing about 6 pounds right now, I dont know how I can carry so much weight for my little body. Hopefully I have 1 or 2 more weeks left, it's so exciting yet nerve wrecking.

Coco is 3 years old today. Happy Birthday Coco!!
