pic

For Emmett's first visit to the dentist, he got a Cars toothbrush and T-shirt from their office. Teeth are all good, got a thumbs up from the dentist for brushing his teeth every night.

He is walking!!

Emmett has done it!! Took him a little while to get it down, but as of today he is officially walking, walking all over the house. So proud of my lil guy, I love him so much.

I could not believe my eyes!

So my prince has taken me for a ride full of surprises this week. Today Emmett opened the study room door, I saw him do it. He got up (he is taller then most for his age, 95th percentile for height), turned the knob then crawled right through. Um can I say I am adding another lock to the front door, yeah...

Oh, yesterday was his first dentist appointment, just a checkup, will post pictures soon.

Emmett's progress

Emmett has been really progressing fast, just today he learned how to climb up and down things, learned how to step up on his little stool to wash his hands, how to pet the dogs softly, tried to feed himself with a spoon for his morning cereal (he usually wants me to do it), points to the dogs and says "woof woof".

As of last week he is using his sippy cup for juice, water and milk! That is a breakthrough! For all of those who didn't know, Emmett would only drink juice if it was spoon fed to him and didnt like to drink water either.

I am so proud of my lil prince, he is learning so fast. I love him more and more each and every day.

Christmas Time of Year!

This Christmas season I've had time to reflect on what really matters most. Today is fast Sunday (for those not LDS, every 1st Sunday of the month, we bear our testimony of Christ at church, voluntary of course). I haven't done this in awhile because I dont like to speak in front of big crowds and though I did not do it again this Sunday.

I want to let my family and friends know that I do have a testimony of Christ, of his gospel and that I am extremely grateful for the plan of salvation and what I have been given, my husband, son and the wonderful life that we live. I am grateful for Christ's atonement for us. I am grateful for Temples, for being able to be sealed to my husband and son for all time and all eternity. What a blessing that is!

So here is to wishing all of you a wonderful Christmas! :-)
